Proceeds to Benefit: Hidden Harvest, the Great Lakes Bay Region's only fresh and prepared food rescue program, collects more than 360,000 pounds of surplus food each month from restaurants, food wholesalers, bakeries and other health department-certified sources and delivers it, free of charge, to nonprofit agencies serving residents in need in our community. Since 1994, more than 58 million pounds of healthy and nutritious food have been distributed to nonprofit agencies in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
